Bengali Women wear white or Off-white Sarees with Red, Pink or Maroon Borders. Alta which is applied to Bride’s foot is the most important part of Bengali bride’s Makeup.
Tamilian Bride
A Tamilian Bride’s most characteristic feature is her beautifully braided hair decorated with Gold jewelry. They usually wear bright colored Sarees.
Telugu Bride
A Telugu Bride wears a traditional Silk Saree with bridal jewelry and the Kamarbandh being an essential part of it.
Malay Bride
The Malay Brides usually go for white Silk Saree with golden border and the Floral jewelry made of Rajnigandha and the Jasmine flowers being an essential accessory.
Buddhist Bride
A Buddhist Bride wears a traditional Goncha with a loose trouser Skirt with a headgear known as Perak.
Parsi Bride
A Parsi Bride almost has attire similar to a Christian Bride with an all-white look. Their jewelry usually is made of Platinum and white Pearls.
Kashmiri Bride
The Traditional outfit of a Kashmiri Bride is the Pheran with Kashmiri Embroidery and the Dupatta is worn over the head which is not only traditional but it also adds to the beauty of the Bride.
